A Week From Monday is a residency project for visual artists and musicians working together for a week in Scopoli (Foligno, PG). The residency aims to produce a publication published by Viaindustriae in collaboration with Holydays, with a record edited by Holydays and Rous Records; a live musical performance by the musicians who took part in the residency that occurs during the Holydays Festival in Scopoli. Scopoli hosts the residency week; its rich and fragile natural and social context becomes the protagonist of the participants' own research. During their stay, the selected artists and staff stay overnight in the earthquake-proof wooden "cottages" - formerly destined for evacuees - marking a change in the destination of places that preserve the memory of the earthquake experience. The first residency in 2020 resulted in a publication with a CD that collects visual and sound materials produced during the seven days of work with the visiting artists Giacomo Infantino and Francesca Ruberto and the musicians Laura Agnusdei, Matteo Pennesi, Luca Sguera (see publication: https://publishing.viaindustriae.it/a-week-from-monday/); the second residency in 2021 resulted in a publication with the same format as the previous one, which collects the materials produced by the visual artist Davide Barbini and the musicians ksara, Vincenzo Marando, Steve Pepe; the third residency in 2023 resulted in an artist's book, an artist's record and a cd.

AMAZZONIA is a concept that combines the sale of art books with other objects produced/conceived/connected in our region. It started as a survey of the vegetation of the industrial area. It is a temporary bookshop on the ground floor/warehouse of Viaindustriae, Via delle Industrie 9, Foligno (PG). It usually takes place once a year to coincide with the beginning of the Christmas break. From time to time it is also repeated in the summer.
2023: 2 December, 5.30 p.m. Viaindustriae + Radio Safari, Animal Sounds Calendar. Radio Safari is an audio-documentary project about animals and what, of animals, we hear. The calendar suggests each month, with drawings by Giulio Scalisi and words by Radio Safari, some ways of exploring the animal world and some ways of listening to the sounds this world produces.
2022: 22 December, 6 p.m. Viaindustriae + Torrerivera, Olio per ungere i libri. Limited edition of 50 250 ml bottles of oil with personalised label, perfect to accompany one of our books as a Christmas gift. Extra virgin olive oil is an organic liquid that allows itself to be dangerously absorbed by the paper of the pages that rest safely in our books; artists, publishers, printers would advise against letting it into their studios and offices. Bookbinders, graphic designers, typographers would call it the enemy of the uncoated paper. But on the occasion of Amazonia 2022, Viaindustriae has decided to welcome it and make it a protagonist, taking the risk of making it meet (metaphorically) with the pages of books to grease them well.
2021: 15 July, 6.30 pm, AMAZZONIA returns with a day of workshops, performances, book sales and listening stations. This year we are presenting a project to map the trees in the green area around Viaindustriae.
2020: Online. Viaindustriae + Pasticceria Fontana & Fontana. AMAZZONIA online: handmade panettone in combination with discounted books.
2019: 22 December, 5 p.m. Viaindustriae + Jeffrey Isaac. Jeffrey Isaac premieres 48 Reize, a line of artist's t-shirts produced by Viaindustriae. 48 Reize, a project by Jeffrey Isaac, is a set of multi-dimensional images: a series of oil paintings on rolls of canvas, a series of 8-second video animations with sound by Nyla Van Ingen, a series of t-shirts and a catalogue.
2018: 20 December, 5.30 p.m. Viaindustriae + Vivai Sara. For the first edition of AMAZZONIA, Viaindustriae selects plants from Vivai Sara that are sold in combination with books.

This exhibition documents the research and residency project Manufatto in Situ founded by Viaindustriae (2007-2017). Initially based on a specific research-action in the marginal and radical landscape of the rural-mountain area of Cancelli and the Menotre Valley, Manufatto has since used hypertextual methods and extra-situ projects to draw connections between different sites, types of intervention and 'thematic' landscapes. The result is an extensive survey, exhibition and art-architecture-nature book on public space, site-specific art practices, interventions and landscape studies in Italy and borders. This archive project consists of 10 thematic sections composed of artistic traces, works and documents relating to 10 Umbrian landscapes, linked in turn to 10 extra-regional 'parallel' sites, environments and radical historical experiences from the 1960s to the present. This introduces an unorthodox and critical overview of the contemporary landscape, between environmental art and architecture, nature and the city. The exhibition is conceived as an integrable system of horizontal documentation (documentary/table), vertical inventory (wall), and 'projections', provisional artefacts, complex forms located in the landscape (utopia/pyramids).
